Went dove hunting in Argentina and purchased the Axil XCOR ear buds for the trip. We shot 6-8 hours per day for 4 days straight and the ear buds were comfortable and did a great job! Very happy with the purchase.
The Nascar Xcor earmuffs have performed perfectly so far, exactly as specified in the product manual. I've used them with 9mm Parabellum and 5.56mm ammunition, and the noise reduction is excellent. They are very comfortable and fit perfectly in the ear canal. Highly recommended.
Very comparable to wearing head phones without the heat discomfort.

I just got them I’m April of 2025 and did my first Tactical Games Skirmish on May 3rd in Phx AZ and I was very impressed with how well they felt during the fitness obstacles and shooting rounds. Way better than ear muffs, especially when sweaty. The hearing enhancement was really nice when trying to listen to instructions before the range went hot at each stage. The only downsides are the purple light indicator is very faint in color and they don’t always stay in place in the charger when you need them to charge. You have to make sure the charging case is not moving around in a bag or gear case.
New to shooting a few years ago. Experienced the uncomfortable cheek weld with the muffs, researched other options. Saw an unrelated video from youtuber Backfire and he was wearing buds. Had to figure out what brand they were and it turned out to be Axil. I know there are other brands, but figured that if a guy like that wears Axil, they must be good. Saw the GS extreme, but knowing me, I'd get tangled up in the wires. Don't need the Bluetooth, so the regular XCOR was my choice. Had them for a couple years now. Very happy with the foam fit. Easy to operate. Like having hearing protection/enhancement and the adjustable volume. A good quality product. Just purchased a second XCOR as a backup.

I've used these a few times on hunts now and I've been impressed. They are easy to operate, and comfortable enough to wear for hours. I used the hearing enhancement mode while watch a herd of deer feed. I heard every little sound in the woods that caused one of them to stop grazing and look up. It's pretty neat to have the same hearing as the game you're hunting. A quick switch to hearing protection mode when it was time to shoot and the sound suppression kicked in just as advertised.
They are amazing on cold windy days in the duck marsh. I can still hear my buddy talking and they block out the wind noise. Also love the protection mode when shooting a 12 gauge. Thanks Axil.
These are interesting and I'm still learning how to use them. The smallest foam pieces are a little too big for my ears. Once turned on and inserted properly, they definitely reduce the loudness of the environment. I do have to turn up the volume when I want to listen to someone and turn is down when I want to shoot because in the indoor range, the echo of the shot can be heard when the volume is high enough to listen to someone else. I'm going to try a set of over the ear electronic headphones as I think I may like them better.
Love these! Work great in the duck blind. I can still call with little to no distortion and have full conversations without taking them out. Super happy with with the XCOR!
That’s me trapping at a recent event, I trap to earn my clays. Do you have a smaller unit or a real small plug. I have small ear canels. I have some trouble keeping them in when I shoot. But they do work well.
If you are on the fence about buying the XCORS for hunting I'm here to tell you to BUY them! You will not regret it and your audiologist will thank you. I can't thank this company enough for saving what's left of my hearing while I was chasing this 8 point this season. My only suggestion for making this product better would be a small Bluetooth remote that could be fixed to a rifle stock. That way you could limit your movement while switching from hearing enhancement mode to protection mode.
Purchased these earplugs for dove hunting and other targeting. The worked extremely well in the field providing ear protection with virtually no fatigue. I was impressed at how well they blocked the sounds. Great product. Highly recommended.
I wanted to love these, BUT, they simply won’t stay in my ears. I definitely should have got ones that were connected, so if/when they fall out, at least they won’t get stepped on. They are a little complicated to adjust, but, with practice, they do the job. I also should have opted for the Bluetooth version, which was yet another mistake. I also bought their headphones, which I’m rather happy with.
Product works well and I'm happy with it. The reason I put 4 stars is I wish they were fitted better. I'm Between small and medium of the eartips, also hope they were a bit softer. They work fine I love them but I wish they had a better fit

Love that they allow a perfect cheek weld and I can still hear. They are comfortable. I wish I got the Bluetooth version and I’m not sure they provide 29 db protection even with prover fitting and correct size tips. I do like them overall. I think the charging case feels a little cheap, but overall I’m happy with these.

I always dbl up with electronic muffins anyway but I getting these to seal off my ear pretty well .
My 1st pair was corded which I did like them but I got a shirt in the cord & I can’t hear well at all if I need to hear range commands . I do wish u guys would make a hunter orange because if dropped the dark color would make em hard to see .
But these are a great set of electronic Buds ! I don’t think anyone else makes as good a Bud for the price !
Finally found a set of ear plugs for sporting clays. The others iv purchased either didn't allow me to hear others talking or were very uncomfortable. This are great. Use axil now for all my shooting.
I was very skeptical about it working at an indoor range. Sure enough it worked just as good if not better than traditional ear muffs and plugs. I will never go back. I was at the range for over 2 hours no battery issues at all. Overall I love them
Less cumberson than headphones--especially in hot summer months. Hearing protection is good but fortunately I don't need hearing enhancement because there is a lot of background noise (shhhhhhh).

Hello. I want to start by saying that I believe in your product. I just don’t think it’s right for me. I have found after multiple times at the range I am not getting the proper fit for safe hearing from my ear buds. At least I think it’s a fitment issue. For small caliber it’s plenty and they are comfortable to wear. When I have someone next to me with a .308 or an AK for example it’s not enough to protect my hearing. I have to use earmuffs in addition to my earbuds to get enough protection. In addition I feel like the battery life is very short. I believe I had a full charge the first time I used them and the left one died in the middle of a range session. Thankfully I had a set of backup cans.
I have tinnitus already from working with tools without protection when I was young.
I need to protect what I have left.
I have changed my review after a very positive customer service experience from AXIL. They reached out with tips for figment and charging to make sure I get the most from my purchase.
